Hands On Tech Workshops

Learners and parents: come and fix something real

At a workshop you watch a mentor do a job, then do it yourself with help: a bicycle wheel, a simple electrical fitting, a home air-conditioner.

Fathers and sons are welcome to come and learn together.

Two participants work on an upside-down bicycle while another person watches nearby.

Mentors: pass on what you know

If you can fix a bicycle wheel, wire a fitting or service an air-conditioner, a young person can learn it from you. You can also help organise sessions or spread the word.

Schools and organisers: bring a workshop to your group

We can plan a session with you for your students, residents or staff volunteers. On 24 October 2026 we ran a workshop with Compassvale Lodge Residents' Network.

Participants sit around tables during a bicycle workshop in an open-sided space.
